Yes. Eagle Remodeling Services carries an active Maryland Home Improvement Commission license (MHIC #117311). MHIC licensing is required statewide for any home improvement work over $500.
Do I need a permit for a bathroom or kitchen remodel in MD?
Most plumbing, electrical, and structural work requires a permit. Eagle Remodeling pulls every permit on your behalf in Montgomery, Howard, Anne Arundel, Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Prince George's, Frederick, Carroll, and Charles counties.

A standard kitchen remodel runs 6–10 weeks once design is approved and permits are issued. Full design-build timeline including planning averages 12–14 weeks from first call.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
Typical bathroom build is 4–6 weeks. The bathroom is unusable for 14–18 days within that window.
How long does a whole-home renovation take?
Typical whole-home renovation runs 4–8 months from demo to final walk. Design and permits add 6–12 weeks before that.
Do you offer financing?
Yes — 0% promotional financing is available for qualified Maryland homeowners through our partner lenders. Discussed at your free estimate.
What is your warranty?
5-year workmanship warranty on all renovations, plus full manufacturer warranties on materials and fixtures. Documented and signed at project completion.
Will I work with one team or multiple subcontractors?
One licensed in-house crew handles design, demolition, plumbing, electric, and finish. No subcontractor coordination required from you — single point of accountability.
Do you handle demolition and debris removal?
Yes. Demolition, disposal, and clean-up are included in every fixed-price quote.
Do you provide 3D renderings?
Yes — every project over $20K gets 3D renderings during design. You walk through your kitchen or bath in 3D before a single fixture is ordered.
Will my home be livable during construction?
For most projects yes. We use ZipWall containment, run separate HVAC where needed, and keep the rest of the house dust-free. Whole-home projects sometimes benefit from temporary relocation.
What Maryland cities do you serve?
We serve 150+ MD cities, including Bethesda, Potomac, Chevy Chase, Annapolis, Columbia, Ellicott City, Silver Spring, Rockville, Baltimore, Towson, Frederick — plus all four DC quadrants and Northern Virginia.
Do you handle HOA and historic-district approvals?
Yes — for HOA architectural review and historic preservation commission (HPC) submittals, we prepare board-ready packages with elevations, materials, and sample boards.
Can you match historic Maryland homes?
Yes. We regularly work in 1890s–1960s MD homes (Annapolis Historic District, Roland Park, Chevy Chase Section 5) and source period-appropriate tile, fixtures, and millwork.
How do change orders work?
Change orders happen only when scope actually changes. Each change order is a separate signed document with new line-items and pricing. We never use change orders as a sales tactic.
Can I provide my own materials?
For some items yes — particularly fixtures and decor. Cabinetry, tile, and stone we source ourselves so we own the warranty chain.
